Become a Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE®)

Achieve the Designation of Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE®)

Certification as a Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) is the sole formal recognition available to postsecondary instructors specializing in hospitality. The CHE is applicable to all educators. You might be a novice in the field of education, an experienced professor, an adjunct lecturer, or a professor. Those with experience in the hospitality industry need formal education to find this particularly beneficial.

The preparation workshop furnishes educators with comprehensive knowledge relating to:

  • Revised pedagogical approaches for imparting hospitality education.
  • Media and technology integration strategies for courses.
  • How adults acquire knowledge and how to instruct them effectively.
  • Improving the efficacy of assessments and evaluation instruments to augment the student experience.

Organize a CHE Workshop at Your School

A CHE workshop presents a unique opportunity for your school and its hospitality management department. Educators in the field of hospitality should convene in your area for a few days of rigorous study and discussion.

When you organize a CHE workshop, you:

  • Streamline the process for faculty members to obtain CHE certification.
  • Provide a platform where local educators can congregate and exchange concepts.
  • Obtain a reputation for dedication to improving the faculty and the instructional environment.
